Here we are; said Rahul driving through the parking lanes of motel “Snow”, which was built on the beautiful landscape of the local hill of the town. The landscape seems to be the best place to chill out with friends or to enjoy a few moments of joy with family; it was a perfect vacation place. People from all around the town love to spend their time with the beauty and peace of Nature; especially in winter, when the whole landscape is covered with the beautiful white sheet of Snow and it makes you feel heaven on earth.
As Rahul parked the car, he asked his wife Mira to walk ahead with their little boy Sammy and to start up with the registration process. He added that he would join them with the luggage. Mira and Sammy went inside the hotel which was decorated with beautiful flowers and plants, so one could feel the vibes of Nature. Mira went to the reception and settle the registration process. Meanwhile, Rahul came along with their luggage and they went to their allocated room. The room was too refreshing and had a wonderful view of the beautiful landscape one could admire while having a hot cup of tea through the little balcony.
After the refreshment, they went to the dining hall to have their dinner. They order the food of their interest along with the special dish of the day and a bowl of hot soup for little Sammy. While having dinner, Rahul and Mira planned to go for walk around the hotel compound so they could spend some time together enjoying the beautiful night of cold. On the way to their room, Mira saw a photo of a little boy on the Missing notice board. He was almost the same age as little Sammy, around 5 to 6 years. She showed that to Rahul and becomes a little bit worried. Rahul asked one of the staff members about the missing boy. The staff officer narrated the incident that, Almost a year ago during the last winter days a family of 3 people; husband, wife and their little boy came to the hotel to enjoy their vacation. But one night their kid Kevin went missing from the hotel compound. The family reported to the local police that Kevin wanted to make a Snowman and an uncle wants to help him to do so. His parents stopped him saying that it was already dark and they would make the Snowman the next day. But somehow little Kevin went alone hiding from his parents and from then he went missing. Police and his parents searched the whole area but they never found him. They checked the camera but they didn’t get anything from the footage. The camera recorded nothing about that night and they remained clueless. Still, no one found anything about Kevin and the mystery man Kevin was talking about.
The staff officer added that a strange incident happened that night. A snowman was placed outside the hotel compound which was very similar to the shape and look of little Kevin. Everyone thought Kevin made that Snowman and went missing after that.
Hearing the whole incident Mira got sad and a bit worried. She was hesitating to go outside for a walk. Little Sammy said that he was feeling sleepy. He was looking tired because of the all-day drive so they put off the idea of a walk and went to their room.
In the room, while Rahul and Mira were preparing for bed, Sammy was playing near the balcony. After preparing the bed Mira went to get Sammy from the balcony. When called out for Sammy she saw that Sammy was watching outside and waving to someone. When she looked outside Mira saw a man standing near the compound with a snowball in one of his hands and calling Kevin towards him.
Mira got frightened and she immediately carried Sammy to the room. She asked Rahul to check for the man standing outside but Rahul didn’t found anyone. Rahul assured Mira that there was no one outside and nothing is going to happen with them. After that, they all went asleep.
It was midnight and Mira woke up to drink water. As she looked around she was unable to find Sammy who was sleeping between them. She worriedly shouted his name which makes Rahul wake up from his deep sleep. She told Rahul that Sammy was not there. They ran to the balcony thinking that Sammy might be there playing around.
As they went to the balcony, they saw that Sammy standing outside the compound in a pose of Snowman and a man was applying snow on his body. They shouted for Sammy and asked him to stay away from that man. Hearing their voices many people came out of their room to check what’s happening. Rahul rushes towards Sammy and asked Mira to stand there and keep an eye on Sammy.
As soon as Rahul went near Sammy, the man got disappeared and Rahul holds Sammy in his arms. Mira then rushes towards them and worriedly holds Sammy’s hand. They were completely shocked on seeing that Sammy’s arm was freezing with the snow that the mystery man had applied on him and slowly the ice was spreading on his little arm. It seems that his arm was converting into the real snow. As soon as it gets start spreading Rahul rubbed Sammy’s arm and snatched the ice with a little force from his arm. The ice got pulled out along with some part of Sammy’s skin and little Sammy got frightened and started crying.
Mira at once carried Sammy and they went in the hotel to apply some first aid on Sammy’s arm. As soon as they were finished with the first aid Mira asked Rahul to leave the hotel right now. She doesn’t want to stay in the hotel one more second. Rahul agreed to that and they were just about to leave but the hotel manager Miss. Riya stopped them saying that it was nighttime and it would be safe if they stayed in the hotel. She assured them that they could leave the hotel in the morning if they want.
Mira and Rahul agreed to stay still the morning and sat in the waiting hall watching out for Sammy who falls asleep in Mira's arm. The next morning they took their luggage and make their way out to the hotel. While leaving Mira looked at the photo of Kevin and feel sad. Rahul holds her hand they went away from there.
